  1. Has anyone heard of or done Brainbench Certifications? www.brainbench.com
I have two under my belt. Had to take many tests to get them so they weren't
easy. Was wondering about your opinions on their value.
    They are :

    Brainbench Certified Computer Programmer
Brainbench Certified Computer End-User Support Specialist

I passed a few support type tests on Windows 2000, general hardware, and two
more that I can't think of right now (all my certs are tucked away). Pretty
much everyone that I mention them to replies with: "who" or "brain what".
I've not seen any job listing that mentioned them as something that they were
    prefer you to have.
Though I have to admit that I'm still with the same company that I was with
when I passed the tests. So I've not had a chance to see an interviewer's
reaction. Though I'm sure that the MS certs would make them take notice long
    before the Brainbench certs would.

I think I even took a few brainbench tests for the hell of it a long
time ago and did very well and knew nothing about the product. As a
matter of fact, I do remember doing that. So anyway, yeah, they are teh
    suck.
