I have a DVD drive and a DVD re writer drive on my PC which have suddenly stopped being recognised by windows XP. I have checked for loose connections and also changed the data cable. They are not seen in the startup BIOS and are not in the hardware manager. What else can I do to get them recognised? They have a power supply so they are both opening and closing . Thanks, Shirley
