I am using Windows XP Professional on two computers and have a Linksys
Bluetooth USB adapter on both (USBBT100). These two machines work fine
together for internet activity as long as I have the computer that the modem
is plugged into turned on. My DSL connection is made through a ADSL
Modem/Router from GNET BB0060A. I have been looking at getting a Bluetooth
WAP with a printer server. The part that keeps bugging me is that they say
you have to be plugged into your LAN. Does that mean for the WAP to work I
have to have a system up and running ? Or does that mean I can plug the LAN
cable from the back of my modem to the WAP and have access at any computer
no matter which one is turned on? That is my goal, to place the WAP in the
house and be able to turn on any single device I want and access the
    internet.
