I've just recently installed a Cisco PIX 515 (replacing an old Watchguard device) and I'm trying to block access to some sites by IP address.

I don't seem to be able to get the rule straight... everything I try that should work seems to break all access through my firewall.

We're using the PIX in transparent mode with everything incoming blocked by default with exceptions and everything outgoing allowed.

Basically what I'm trying to do is block users on my network from getting to 123.123.123.123. When I put in a rule that I think should work, the access list dumps the default rule for allowing anything outgoing.

I'd appreciate any advice anyone can give. If this has already been covered in a previous post, I do apologize, but the search feature said PIX and 515 were too small to search for.
