Billion Row Files in Sql Server

    This is the first time I have managed a single table that is 1billion rows. How do I optimize performance in Sql Server? I need to do a group by on 5 columns routinely since it will be used as a facttable to build an olap cube...
    I plan on indexing on the 5 columns. Is there anything else I can do?
