    Find a pawnshop. They always have excellent, barely-used pawned photo
    stuff that somebody didn't redeem - at very attractive prices. If
    there's a pawnshop going out of business and having a sale, you REALLY
    hit the jackpot. And digicams can be tested right there in the
    pawnshop!

    Never been in a pawnshop have you? Getting a good deal in a pawnshop is
    like winning two consecutive Powerball jackpots in a row. Pawnshops pay
    10-cents on the dollar and throw the merchandise on eBay so some fool will
    pay higher than retail.

    Here in Phoenix, the pawn shops are now businesses like any other;
    they sell their merchandise at the same price level any other business
    sells like merchandise; that they get their merchandise for less
    doesn't affect the selling price at all.
    IOW, no great deals here.
    Also, the owners seem to have a long list of friends who get first
    shot at the good items, so they never get put on the shelves for sale.

    Pat Robertson would have.
