Making backups of my movies so the kids cant wreck them,
    Just after a few pointers:

I'm using an 8x 107 Pioneer burner in conjunction with anyDVD and
CloneDVD.. I'm ripping from my slotfront pioneer 16x dvdrom, etc..
ripping takes approx 10 mins, but burning is over 30mins..

    Whats going wrong? :)

    Thanks

What speed is your blank media rated to burn at? It sounds as if the 2x
speed is being used by your drive when burning.
