Avoid CULV?

Discussion in 'NZ Computing' started by Lawrence D'Oliveiro, Aug 27, 2009.

  1. Consumer Ultra-Low Voltage notebooks are supposed to be a step up from
netbooks in terms of keyboard and screen size, and performance. But what
they are really trying to achieve is a step up in profit margins for Intel
    and the hardware vendors.

The September issue of Australian "PC User" magazine reviews a whole bunch
of notebooks and netbooks, and the initial crop of CULV machines, at least,
look like they are best avoided.
