    Hello,

I have a Cisco ASA 5505 and every time my power goes out, the device will not power back on automatically. I have to manually unplug the power cable then plug it back in. Is there a config option to have this device auto boot upon power outages?

The weird thing is, I've had this device almost two years now and never had this issue previous to moving into my new house. I'm sure my old house had power surges too, why didn't this issue occur then? Is it possible an IOS upgrade caused this?

    Thanks in advance.
