Audio corrupted

Discussion in 'Computer Information' started by Jay Blanchard, Oct 23, 2003.

  1. Some audio (wave) files on my computer have corrupted for no apparent
reason. All wave players come up with an error message "Invalid file type" I
can get around that by copying the header information from another
uncorrupted wave file but I still get an error "Unknown Codec" These files
worked fine before. Is there any way to force them to play? I don't care
    about quality...
From what I can remeber this is not possible but if anyone has any ideas?
    Thanks,
    Jay
