    Conclusion

What should we think of this Radeon HD 3870? First of all, AMD has
reached its goal, taking back the crown for the most powerful graphics
    card.

It has been seen in the US for $384.

It will be interesting to keep an eye on performance gains from more
mature drivers. ATI has a history of making significant performance
gains with later drivers. I believe this will certainly be the case
with the 3870 X2 and with CrossfireX.

The 3870 X2 is considered to be a transitional card. ATI have a new
GPU coming, the RV770, possibly dual-core, which is expected in Q2.
    This may support GDDR5 memory.
