Async Dialback on 1841 w/WIC-2AM not working

    Hello group,

    I am trying to configure async callback on my 1841 with WIC-2AM. The
    dialin works well, but for some reason, the callback script is not
    being executed, the debug looks like this:

    Do you see anything in the config below that might not make sense ? It
    seems to me that, for some reason, the chat script is not tied to the
    line/interface...

  2. From the looks of it, this is not a configuration problem, but just
    your basic modem trainup problem. You might try using a dialing
    chat script that caps the WIC-AM modem in V.34 (+MS=V34.)

    For troubleshooting this, I would recommend reverse telnetting to
    the WIC-AM line, then manually testing different AT strings and
    dialing the remote modem, till you get a connection that looks
    stable. The AT commands are documented at
