ARM to surpass Atom by 2012?

  1. Prediction from one lot of analysts, at any rate

Facts: ARM is king of the low-power market. x86 is just too complex to match
it. The main selling point of x86--Windows compatibility--doesn't matter as
much in this market. Also: Microsoft isn't making money here, and has no
idea how to do so. Offering XP cheap was a stopgap measure, and Windows 7
Starter Edition is just not worth taking seriously.
