Are Espon 1290 blacks better than Canon's i9100,

Discussion in 'Digital Photography' started by nobody nowhere, Dec 1, 2003.

  1. The Epson 1290 blacks seem to me richer and deeper, more velvety, etc.
than those produced by the Canon i9100. Is this your experience as
well? As to reds, I find both printers unable to reproduce deep rich
etc. reds. Don't get me wrong, I am not saying that the Canon blacks or
the reds of both printers are substandard in each case, they are still
excellent, but only that perhaps they might have been richer/deeper,
    etc.
