Apple Abandons ZFS

    Apple was quite innovative in including a limited form of ZFS in 10.5, but
    then dropped it in 10.6.

    Once hard drive sizes of 10TB or so become routine, we will need next-
    generation filesystems like this, because RAID will no longer work.
