AOL instant messenger - disabling auto away?

    Greetings,
My AIM is setting me as Away with the default away message after I'm
idle for a few minutes. When I return to the PC, it auto-disengages.
People can see the moment I touch my computer again, and I'm not crazy
about this. I know I could manually set it as away before I leave the
keyboard and it would stay this way until manually turned off, but I'd
rather just leave myself as "here" (not-away) at all times. I want my
contacts to see me as available at all times. How do I stop it from
making me Away on its own. I've combed through the preferences and
options and I dont see anything to this effect. TIA
