    install Movie Maker 2.6."

    Windows Live Movie Maker
(never used it so don't know if it's better than the included version)

(guess this adds some extra functions over the included version)

trakAxPC is similar to Movie Maker in some ways but allows many more
audio and video tracks, and more flexible audio placement and editing.

    trakAxPC
Pros: Timeline editor, multiple audio/video tracks, Splitter/joiner,
frame advance, filters/effects, snapshots, audio track placement, beat
matching, transitions, can search for missing files
    Cons: Limited video export options
Input: AVI, FLAC, OGG, WAV, WMA, WMV/ASF
Output: AVI(uncompressed), FLAC, OGG, WAV, WMA, WMV/ASF
    OS: Win XP/Vista/7
