ICY BOX maker's website describe their products sketchily.

Writing to raidsonic.de or nanopoint.co.uk does not get replied to.

For 2 years now have been looking for external device that can take
more than one ide hard disk, is supplied with single
direct(non-adaptor) power connection, connects to serever with more
    speed than USB2.

Thought ICY DOCK or ICY BOX on
    http://www.nanopoint.co.uk/en/pages/products/backplanes.php?search=IDE
    would do.
But first letter to UK Branch and second letter both to UK and Germany
    branch went unreplied.

    Considering to purchase
Buffalo TeraStation Pro 2.0TB Network Attached Storage
    http://www.morecomputers.co.uk/textra.asp?pn=TS-2.0TGL/R5-1&referer=Froogle

Any idea if one can replace harddisks in the device oneself.
