ALL IN WONDER with TV TUNER

Discussion in 'A+ Certification' started by NoNewz_is_GoodNewz, Nov 7, 2003.

  1. Since I was so lucky getting help from you folks on my previous near
disaster, I thought I'd post another question.

I bought a 64mb All-In-Wonder vid card with tv tuner. A guy I happened to
speak with at Comp USA (not an employee) told me that my integrated sound
card (Intel mobo) won't work with it because I can't connect directly to the
    sound card out jack.

I installed the card, and installed the card software. It comes with a
'media suite'. The picture/sound/and graphics are fine, but the suite keeps
locking up on me - meaning I click on, say, the CD or DVD player, and I get
the hourglass, but nothing opens. Or if it does open, it doesn't play
    anything.

Any ideas on what I need to do to get this card working, and especially the
TV tuner part of it? How does it connect to an onboard sound card?

    Thanks, again!

  2. Thanks! I got it. I think something didn't install correctly the first
time around, so I reinstalled some things, and all I can say is .... "I LOVE
THAT VID CARD". It is so awesome to watch tv on a pc!

    Thanks to you again!

    Linda
