I have a sagem usb modem along with tiscali braoadband that keeps paying up
and have decided to use a wireless router instead, reason being as I have
read that a modem connected via usb isnt the best option for broadband.

I plan to connect my pc via ethernet cable direct from the router. the
router will be plugged into my phone line, I will use the wireless part for
laptops and sony psp etc. at some point.

What I want to know is this, as I have the set up now, I need adsl filters
on the phone line of all appliances that are plugged into the line(phones/
answer machines etc) will I still need filters when I have the wireless
modem/router? or can I dispense with them?

    Thanks in advance.

Yes. You will still need filters.
