    I have Ad-Aware 6.0 installed with update 01R234 27.11.2003.

    When I do an auto update it tells me that 0R150 05.07.2003 is available.

    Can this be right??

    I mispoke (typed). My question was somewwhat retorical.

    I have the latest version installed, thanks to a posting on this newsgroup.

    My REAL question is why does the automatic update refer to a file that is 5
    months old?

    Open Ad-Aware, click on the 'i' (Information) symbol (top-right)
    Does it say;
    Ad-Aware 6.0 Personal Build 6.181
    If not then update the Program.

    An alternate possibilty is that an old version (of program) was not
    uninstalled properly and is trying to run.

    Here is a Google link to some newsgroup articles on the matter;

    Are you sure you have the latest version of Ad-Aware itself?
    You need version 6.181 as there were a couple of versions released earlier this
    year quite close together.

    Mine *is* an "official page", I am an "official mirror site" for Lavasoft.

    Thanks for the clue.

    I had v6.160 installed. I replaced it with 6.180.

    I just recently installed this ap. Goes to show that many
    of the download site links provided by Lavasoft do not contain the latest
    versions.
