active sync and wmdc

    just wondering what the main differences between active sync and wmdc are

    WMDC looks much shinier :)
    It's pretty much the new activesync. There's a simple list of improvements
    here:
    http://www.microsoft.com/windowsmobile/devicecenter.mspx
    It supports the newer mobile device OSes, and automatic authentication etc.
    Seems a little more reliable and easy to use as well, for the most part.
    Drops fewer icons on your desktop too :)
