Active Directory >> Select this object type?

Discussion in 'MCSE' started by Sean McGilvray, Mar 31, 2009.

  1. Hello everyone,

When adding members in a group within Active Directory on windows 2003
server, default Object Type is Users, groups and other Object but NOT
Computer object. We need to ticked Computer Object box.

I need to make Computer Object “Object Type” ticked or selected as
    default.

When you right click on the "Computers" group, there should be a "New" option in
the resulting menu. Click that, then select "Computer." (Doing this from memory
so someone please correct me if I am wrong.)
