Acrobat Standard 8 and Editing a PDF

Discussion in 'Computer Support' started by Steve Freides, Nov 11, 2008.

  1. I have Adobe Acrobat Standard 8 and want to add some text to a PDF I
received - it's a poster for an event we're involved in and adding our
names to it makes sense before we give it out to our friends.

I can't figure out how to do this - when I found "insert text" it seems
to treat it as some sort of comment or otherwise unprintable text.

    Thanks in advance.

I really don't know what sort of PDF it is, but there is enough white
space that I could fit in what I needed if I could figure out how. I
don't need to remove or edit any existing text, just add some.
