access point and dial up modem

  1. Guest

    Currently i have 2 computers connected by crossover cable,and connect
    using a shared dial-up modem. (Yes, I know it's very slow, but thats
    all thats available here in this rural area) Could I use a wireless
    access point wired to my main computer and appropriate cards for
    laptop/other desktop computers to share the dial-up modem connection
    through my main computer?
