a rare problem?

    Last night this message popped up

    This system is shutting down. Please save all work in progress and lof off. any unsaved changes will be lost. This shutdown was initiated by NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM.
    The system process ‘C:\WINDOWS\system32\services.exe’ terminated unexpectedly with status code-1073740972. The system will now shutdown and restart.

    Everytime I start up, I get about a minute online before losing connection and the whole PC crashing. Have no idea what to do! Have googled the message but most results are for a slightly different problem. I have MS service pack so its patches don't help. Have run Malwarebytes and deleted a bunch of bad stuff via that, but it hasn't helped! Don't know what to do, really desperate, anyone got any ideas?
