A New use for the host file

    Perhaps time to make your host file read only?

    BTW I am aware that a fully patched PC will prevent this scam.

  3. Actually, DNS spoofing has been well-known as a serious vulnerability
    for a long time. It's worryingly easy to do--much easier than patching
    platform-specific "hosts" files, and all platforms are equally
    susceptible.
