802.1q tunneling

Discussion in 'Cisco' started by Daniel Gutierrez, Apr 13, 2004.

  1. Hi!
The Cisco Feature Navigator assures that 802.1q tunneling is aviable
    in the 2600, 3600 and 3700 series requiring a nm-16esw module.
However, I have not found information about configuring this feature
in a 2600 or the 3600 series router with this module. Can anyone show
some example of configuring this feature?
Another question is that the Feature Navigator shows the same
information for 802.1q trunking and for 802.1q tunneling. Are these
    two features actually the same?
    Thanks in advance,
    Daniel
