70-290 or 70-210

  1. Hello All!

I just passed my 70-290 and I am pretty sure I won't have much trouble
with the client test. I am just not sure which I should go for.

I started in IT in 2001 on 2000 Server and Pro. I worked extensively
with these for 3 years. Then I was promoted outside of the IT
department and have recently moved back to IT with another company.

It seems logical that the extra 3 years of 2000 experience would make
that exam easier. At the same time, XP pretty much just built on 2000
and that is what I mostly work with now (about 50/50 split in our
company, but the 2000 computers are in the manufacturing facility and
    don't really do much).

Will my MCSA expire sooner because I take the 70-210?

    Thanks for your input!

  2. Hi Trading Jacks,

Your MCSA will not expire sooner for having 70-210, but what is important is
which MCSA you have - because MCSA on Windows 2000 will always be that, and
MCSA on Windows 2003 will always be 2003.

    Good luck!
