Any one want to comment on recommended prep for this exam or how they rate
    the exam?

    Thanks

  2. Hi Vancouver,

I rate it the easiest exam I have ever taken and the only two that come
close are 70-271 and the original 70-282. I spent about five hours reviewing
and going through Readiness Review practice exams (both with the Microsoft
Press Self-Paced Training kit) and scored a 918.

Good luck and let us know how you do.

    Hey Montreal,

I noticed your post about these two exams earlier this week also (271 &
272). I am curious why you are taking these if you are already an MCSA?
Just curious as I am pursuing MCSA and then MCSE. What value do you see in
these also? Also, are they similar to the XP desktop OS exam?

    Thanks for educating me :)

  4. Hi Jonathan,

I agree with you that once you have MCSA the MCDST does not have any real
value. My reason for taking these exams has to do with my MCT - I have been
asked to teach the two courses, and in order to do that I have to have passed
    them both.

I hope that answers your question. Good luck with your MCSA and MCSE!
