I currently have a 3550 fiber switch connecting a 2950 switch, I have the lx adaptors and teh single mode fiber. the 3550 has a connection light, but the 2950 does not have any indication light, when I pull a strand of fiber, the link light goes out on the 3550.

The 2950 says the line protocol is down (not connected). I am trying to trunk the two to gether, using the admin vlan 1 and allowing vlan 10.
I have tried a different adaptor off of a working port on the 3550 with the same results, I am sure it is just my config.

If any one could show me a sample config on trunking these to together, and if needed I will provide configs.

    Thank you in advance,

    Nic
