I FAT fingered the confreg on a 2621XM and now it displays garbage. The pattern is fine, just the characters are garbage. I remember that on the 2600s they had a dip switch, but cannot find it on the 2600XM. Other than replacing the NVRAM (Eprom chip, next to the ROM chip) is there a solution and obviously I don't have a service contract with Cisco as the is a lab device. 4BITS of madness........lol

    Any help would be appreciated.

    PEACE,
    BB:shock: :hmm2:

This happpened when your router having wrong confreg set.
Please remove NVRAM and re-insert into slot.
