1394 Performance

Discussion in 'Windows 64bit' started by =?Utf-8?B?QWlraWRva2E=?=, Oct 11, 2005.

  1. XP SP2 has KB885222 which fixes a IEEE 1394 performance issue. XP x64 seems
to have the same performance issue, but the fix is only for XP 32bit. I'm
getting 10MB/s or slower transfer rates on a drive that gets >30MB/s
transfers on XP SP2 with KB885222 applied. Has anybody else had problems
with this or know of a hotfix? Dumping DV cam video to my external drives
    takes forever with x64.
