    How do I find the mib for a 10000 5 minute average busy (cpu)?

    I've tried 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.109.1.1.1.1.6.1 but get noSuchName.

    Is it related to IOS version? I'm running 12.0(9r)SL1, RELEASE SOFTWARE (fc1).

    Is there an alternative mib I can use?

    Possibly the .1 should not be on the end.

    1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.109.1.1.1.1.6 is cpmCPUTotal5secRev .
    You could try
    1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.109.1.1.1.1.3 which is cpmCPUTotal5sec .

    My C5500 RSM does not have anything under 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.109
    at all, but then it's running an older IOS.

    My C5500 RSM does seem to respond to 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.2.1.58.0

    enterprises.cisco.local.lsystem.busyPer.0 = 1
    enterprises.cisco.local.lsystem.avgBusy1.0 = 0
    enterprises.cisco.local.lsystem.avgBusy5.0 = 0

    1.3.6.1.4.1.9.2.1.58.0 did the trick.

    Is this because I'm using an older IOS? An upgrade would get me the newer
    mib?

    http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/477/SNMP/collect_cpu_util_snmp.html

    says that new objects came in as of 12.0(3)T .

    http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products..._quick_reference_chapter09186a0080158ccc.html

    then shows the difference between cpmCPUTotal5sec and cpmCPUTotal5secRev
    (the object you had asked about originally); I do not see any
    indication of when the Rev version became available.
