Is there a setting I need to change to see embedded images in incoming mail?

The box is _not checked _in Junk Mail Controls, about sanitizing the HTML.

For TB,
tools -> Options -> Advanced -> Privacy
Uncheck the "Block Loading of remote images in mail messages".

For Mozilla,
Edit -> Preferences -> Privacy and security -> Images
Uncheck "Do not load remote images in mail and newsgroup messages".

And what does that setting do for EMBEDDED images? The OP isn't asking
how to block remote images.

Keepling remote images blocked, except for those from addresses in your
address book is a good idea. It helps prevent spammers from verifying
your email address.

In that case
view -> Display attachements Inline and/or
view -> Message body as -> original/simple HTML should work.

Right now I can only think of these setting.

Although I started a different thread, I'll jump into this one. I
have the same problem. I have unchecked the box, but embedded images
are downloaded and saved as separate attachments, not viewable within
the mail messages.
