In his presentation, Andrei Alexandrescu gives some insight on some
optimization tips regarding the use of C++, particularly on how moder CPU
design influences the decisions on how to implement some coding tricks.

The presentation is a bit long-ish (around 1 hour) but interesting
nonetheless.
