Hi, I'm announcing the release of ScriptGears, a
professional tool for obfuscating Javascript code.
It has several valuable features:

o Rewrites and rearranges code in obfuscated ways.
o Syntax checker, discover coding bugs.
o Reduces download time, typically 50% to 70% speed up.
o Cleaning mode, pretty-prints blobs of code.
o Source code cruncher.
o Syntax coloring, for use in your documents.
o Ciphered strings and code mode.
o Calculates download time (via modem, ADSL, etc.)
o Removes unnecessary spacing and comments.
o Replaces strings with various forms, at your choice.
o Replaces identifiers, options at your choice.
o Pseudorandom spacing mode.
o Loads Unicode, UTF-8, ISO-8859-1 and ANSI encoding.
o Saves as UTF-8 or ISO-8859-1 encoding.
o Command-line mode (only registered users).

The evaluation version can be downloaded at:

This is a contradiction. Professionals don't have a need/use for a
"tool for obfuscating Javascript code".

They and good amateurs know their code is not important enough to
obfuscate, or is so good that the effort of de-obvuscation is worth the
effort. The chance that the latter applies is infinitesimal small.
