My computer died Sunday and have now bought a new one. I have to get
all of my information off the old HD and get everything set back up. I
hope to have it all straightened out by this weekend. If anybody has
posted anything to do with the FAQ, I will get caught up as soon as I
can.

Surely you would simply restore from you backups.

You never considered that it might have been your disk that crashed?

Backing up, using a batch file, to a memory stick is quick and easy.

Can only be done before or in stead of crashing your computer.

Yes, there were backups but the backup program didn't work right on
Windows Vista. And no, it wasn't the HD that crashed. I still haven't
fooled with it yet. It might even be a good time and opportunity for
someone else to edit the FAQ for a while.
