A while ago we just bought 2x 5520 w/ 10 context licenses for a project at work. The lead time on the units was 3 weeks to NZ from US.

1-2 weeks ago Cisco announce the ASA 5512-X which is seemingly a bunch better than the equivalents.

More just venting than anything, but I'm extremely tempted to return the 5520's for the 5512-X provided the pricing difference isn't too great.

That built in IPS and 6 GE compared to 4GE on the 5520 is a pretty killer difference. So are the throughput differences.

Thoughts?
