Oh, as I wrote, a 50% or 66% savings is a good deal.
(Maybe you need to read more carefully.)

That explains how an auction I won had came from china when
*everything* in the auction said it was from the Germany. Yes,
I double checked once the item arrived. It was incredibly simple:
the seller lied flat out.

Checking I wasn't the only one who complained about that tactics
by the seller, despite his claims.

lying can happen with any auction. it's not exclusive to china.

didn't you check before you bought?

yes it is a good deal, but it can be much better too. maybe you should
read more carefully.

one of the better deals i've had was an iphone case for under 25 cents,
delivered. usa sellers have similar cases in the $30 range. call it $25
for easy math and it's 99% savings.

All right, otter, tell us in what way that device is like a softbox.

I'm sure Gary Fong won't be impressed by someone using his name and
trade mark (Lightsphere) to publicise a nasty low-cost alternative to
his well-made, well-designed and effective products.

It's a diffuser to reduce harsh shadows. It does work, and is very
cheap.

LOL, OK, if it helps, he isn't making any money on it. He supplied a
plan for people to build their own. Happens to work very well and is
more portable. Yeah, he probably should not have used Fong's name,
but that happens to be the link.

That's a bad deal. You'll have to buy an iPhone to use it.
