Is Xtra email out again?

Yesterday I sent several emails out (usual club newsletter) but received
several "failed to deliver" messages, all of these from people with Xtra
email addresses. These have all been ok for previous months.

At 9.22pm yesterday I sent out a newsletter to 32 addresses, 10 of them
were with xtra.

No problem

The "failed to deliver" messages may have either an error code or an
error message which could reveal something. To give one example,

| Remote host said: 452 Too many recipients received this hour [RCPT_TO]

The messages are like this;

-------------quote----------------
This is an automatically generated Delivery Status Notification.

THIS IS A WARNING MESSAGE ONLY.

YOU DO NOT NEED TO RESEND YOUR MESSAGE.

Delivery to the following recipients has been delayed.

****@xtra.co.nz

Final-Recipient: rfc822;****@xtra.co.nz
Action: delayed
Status: 4.4.7
Will-Retry-Until: Sun, 5 Feb 2012 07:45:31 +1300
X-Display-Name: .Tauranga(Internet)
-------------quote--------------

(The real email address name has been replaced with ****.)

The email is held up, but it has not yet finally failed to be delivered.
Your mail server will try again.

Yahoo (who runs Xtra's email) do defer accepting some emails.
The big reason is to control spam.

The help below is aimed at the Administrator of the mail server
which you are using to send your outgoing mail.

http://help.yahoo.com/l/qe/snova/mai...ter/index.html

One of its sections says this

| If you are not the administrator of the mail server in question,
| please contact the administrator directly with the error message
| you are receiving.
