Wish New Ruby Book /ruby quiz approach->Standard Library

Recently I've been reading the ruby quiz book, which I've found very
illustrative (A 'someone else code' book).
It would be great to have a book with this kind of approach but this
time going through the Standard Library or some good made libraries
instead.

I'm sure many of us would learn from it.
