I have two computers. One on wireless connection the other wired. Both have
access to the net with no problem. I have both on the same Workgroup name. I can see both system in the Network Neighborhood. From the wireless system I can access files (everything) on the other computer. I cannot access the files going the other direction. The wireless system has NO firewall, antivirus or anything like that installed. I set the folder permissions to share each drive on the wireless system. Although each drive shows the HAND underneath the icon the Permissions screen that ran never ended ( like caught in a loop) I tried to Unshare and reshare again and get the same problem. When I try to access the drives I get the " You dont have permission bla bla bla. Both systems are running XP Home and have worked on the network for years but something has changed. Any help would be great --- Thanks in advance Berry West |

Hey umm I also have a problem with my file sharing on my wieless network. Two
things that may or may not help to know is I'm trying to use sharing from a laptop, and that the message that comes up is " An error occured while Internet Connection Sharing was bieng enabled. Internet Connection Sharing cannot be enabled. A LAN connection is already configured with the IP adress that is required for automatic IP addressing." If anyone can help me it would be so great because all my top programs are on here. Do I need to uninstall the LAN from the network panel since I'm using Wireless?
