I upgraded the firmware in my Linksys Wireless G- Speedboost router
primarily to increase security to WPA2-PSK from the WPA-PSK I had been using. No problems on the upgrade--- except that speed and signal strength are a bit lower now. What's that all about? Doc John H. Holliday |

I did the same thing with my Dlink DI624 and experienced the same thing. I
went back to the lower version firmware and signal was much better. "John H.
