Web part/control issue

Hi all,

I have a SharePoint Web Part (WebControl sub class) that needs to insert an
ActiveX object reference into the
HTML. However, because the object element is embedded within so much other
HTML, my client-side script is not picking up the object, and I'm getting an
"object required" error when I try to reference it. I need to render the
object element further up the page - ideally in the header section - but
don't know how to do this as it appears web parts can only render to their
sub-section of the page.

Is there any way to render HTML in the header element in a web part/control?
Any
other suggestions for workarounds?

Many thanks,

Jamie
