Hi all,

When I write events to the event log I am finding that the following gets
written:

Ordinarily I'd not mind, but being that the eventID that I write to the
event ID for my app may well tie up with something at Microsoft and thus
display misleading information I would like to get shot of it...I have gone
through the items (all 10) in .WriteEntry but cannot see anything obvious.

In an ideal world I'd have a link to my own site with the relevant help
(which I can add via text etc) - but then I'll have 2!

Any info appreciated on this one.
