I tried to make a database application with an Access
database behind. But I had problems with the connection
string. Does anyone know if the Pocket PC supports Access
databases as a .NET backend database?

Hi you cant use Pocket Access in a native way with .net compact framework..
You shoud use a wrapper ... Look here
