I use

DataGrid1.DataSource = DataSet11.Tables("EquipmentProducts").DefaultView

and the AllowNew etc. properties of the defaultView.

Unfortunately, if you use AllowNew = true and AllowEdit = false, you can't
type in the fields of the new record.

I need to be able to add new records, but not allow editing of existing ones.

Is this possible?
