spartan 3an ad converter

Hi. i have to use the ad converter for my thesis on spartan 3an(ltc6912-1 amplifier , ltc1407a-1 adc) . I have a question if anyone knows .Manual says that amplifier supports only a 10 mhz clock frequency . Can i use smaller clock frequency ? thank u.
