And how significant is that compared to the oil money (mentioned in
the part of my post you snipped) we pay to those other countries? (A
rough calculation based on googled figures puts recent oil dollars
going to Saudi Arabia at about ten times the most we've sent to Israel
in a year.)

But you said you didn't like your tax dollars being used to support a
brutal anti-democratic regime that has religious discrimination as its
core principle.

Given that, I would think you would find someone pointing out that ten
times as much of your non-tax dollars are being used to support just
such a regime to be helpful in that the spending of those dollars are
more in your direct control.

But you're lying so why do you believe that your bullshit should make

Ah! So it's just the tax part you object to. I understand now.

Lying? Seriously?

Hey, if you don't believe me you can look up the figures up yourself.
It's not that hard: just look up the amount of aid we send Israel each
year (it has varied) and compare that to the # of barrels of oil we
import from, say, Saudi Arabia in a year, multiplied by the price per
barrel. I'm sure you can find sources you can trust for all those
figures. So if you really think I'm lying, go ahead and get the real
figures and call me on it.

Was that after the United States "propped up" Great Britain, itself?

As far as I know, the UK received more post-WWII aid from the U.S.,
than any other nation (including Germany and Japan, surprisingly
enough).

The context of my comment, (which was deleted,) is that giving dollars
to Israel was not supporting terrorism in the Middle East any more than
purchasing oil from there.
